Dr. Deepali is a sincere and a passionate dentist who believes in service with a smile,for a smile! She completed her graduation (BDS) in 2009 and her post graduation (MDS) in 2014 from Army College Of Dental Sciences,Secunderabad.
She is a specialist in the field of Periodontology & Oral Implantology and is well trained in Laser dentistry (ICLE,Indianapolis IN).
After completing her MDS she has worked with Dr.Dilip Bandodkar(MDS Endodontics) in Goa (2014-2015) and Dr.Milind Darda (MDS Orthodontics) (2016-2017)in Pune gaining sufficient clinical expertise in various dental procedures.
She has presented papers at various conferences across the country and also has publications in reputed journals.She has been attending various workshops and CDE programmes to keep herself abreast with all the latest techniques and advancements in the field of dentistry.

Teeth Filling
A tooth filling or a dental restoration is a treatment done to ‘fill a hole’ in the tooth formed most commonly as a result of decay.Apart from decay, loss of tooth structure can also occur due to an external trauma.It is also lost intentionally during tooth preparation to improve the esthetics(more details under crown and bridge section).A dental restoration aims to restore the function, integrity, and morphology of the missing tooth structure

Root canal treatment
Root canal is that part of the tooth which houses the nerves and blood vessels in it. Once the decay reaches this it can no longer be managed by a simple filling and hence it becomes mandatory to do a root canal treatment .This includes removal of decay, cleaning,shaping and filling up of the canals followed by crown placement.
In some teeth where there is extensive loss of tooth structure a post & core treatment may be required to restore the tooth. A post is a thin rod like structure put inside the root canal for support.

Crown, bridge and dentures
A cap or a dental crown is a fixed custom made restoration that covers a tooth which has sustained a significant loss of structure or that has been intentionally reduced in size(done most commonly after a root canal treatment).
These crowns are fabricated in such a way that they match the shape, size and colour of the surrounding teeth.
They are available in different types:
Metal
Porcelain fused to metal
Metal free or zirconia
A Bridge is another fixed method to fill a gap created by a missing tooth (or teeth). It is a custom-made false tooth or teeth, that is held in place by crowns placed on the healthy teeth on each side of space to be filled.
Bridges can only be used to replace a small number of missing teeth and only if the adjacent teeth are healthy.

Extraction and disimpaction
A dental extraction is the removal of a tooth from the mouth. It is usually done in the following conditions:
Grossly decayed tooth that cannot be saved by a root canal treatment
For orthodontic reasons to create space for teeth movement
Impacted third molar/wisdom tooth that is impinging on the surrounding gums and/or adjacent tooth and bone.(disimpaction)

Child dental care

- Our entire clinic stationery is made from recycled paper!Yes you heard us right!Our prescription pads,letterheads, visiting cards,printing paper, face tissues and even our toilet paper rolls have all been made from either recycled paper or from bamboo.We also strictly give only e-bills. We can give you e-prescriptions too if you ask for it.You will save even the recycled paper helping yourself to generate less trash!
- All the clothing material in our clinic right from the aprons,scrubs,drapes,towels,cloth bags etc are made from natural fabrics like organic cotton ,cambrics etc. that have been dyed naturally
- We don't use single - use plastic or paper cups!
- We limit the use of single use disposable plastic syringes.Instead we use the good old metal syringes which come with a glass cartridge and a sealed needle.
